CURRENT STORYLINE AND BACKSTORY The Leviathan: A high-intensity adventure only for the most advanced park guests. A date with Marion on the high seas to track down and kill the dreaded Leviathan that once took his last crew. Only Marion knows where to find the Leviathan, he is the only living man known to have seen it. After finding the right clues, it takes a considerable amount of coin to buy him over, where he then must re-unite with an old able-bodied crew to take to the sea once again. In the journey, he will gradually grow close to and reveal the coveted story of his troubled youth at seas and his burning vengeance to see this beast brought to justice. Along the way encountering rival pirates, salacious sirens, and dreadful swells. In climax, face and find the Leviathan. --- Marion Harker was born the bastard son of the Ashford estate along with his twin sister Beatrice. Lord Ashford had a strained relationship with his bastard children, but provided for them none the less. And even in a time when the Lady Ashford had yet to produce an heir, looked like Marion may possibly be adopted to take the Ashford fortune. In his youth as a reckless lad, Lord Ashford could hardly control his son and his antics. As only a boy of 16, he was kidnapped on voyage to Bourbon and held for a ransom. When word came back that the price was too rich that his father would pay him, he was left at the behest of his ransomers. Instead of take his life, he convinced them to let him stay as their boat hand. For the next 7 years, Marion sailed with the pirate ship Acheron until it was destroyed at high sea by a mythical Leviathan. He was the only survivor. Before he was picked up by a Royal Naval ship, he claims to have struck a deal with death in reaping 10 more years of life in return for a favor and his soul. Returning to Ashford was out of the question, as he was regarded dead in absentia some years prior. Marion had no choice but to find work back out at sea. He fills his pockets with riches he strikes joining voyage crews and merchant ships, though has yet to settle down with any sort of prospects.
